To have and to hold.
A quiet counsellor for the two of you, and a shared space for a shared life. Two phones, invite only.
Getting started
- Install Twohold on both phones.
- On the first phone, enter both your names and choose Pair through iCloud, then Invite, and send the invitation by Messages.
- On the second phone, tap the invitation. Twohold opens and you join.
Both of you need to be signed in to iCloud. Without iCloud, two phones in the same room can pair with a six-digit code (Pair nearby).
Common questions
Can my partner read what I tell the counsellor? No. It never repeats, quotes or reports what one of you told it. It uses it to understand you both and to help, in general terms. Everything it remembers you can both read, under Settings → What Twohold knows.
The phones aren't syncing. On Today, the ring under the two of you shows it: whole with a heart when in step, broken in two when not. Open Settings → Two phones and tap Sync now. Check both phones are signed in to iCloud with storage to spare.
I got a new phone. From the phone that still works, invite again; the new phone replaces the old one.
How do I delete everything? Settings → Two phones lets you stop sharing through iCloud or delete your data from the relay. Deleting the app removes what is on that phone.
